What is a boudoir session?
Boudoir photography often features subjects in lingerie or other similar attire, posed in a way that emphasizes elegance and beauty. The idea is to make the client feel confident about themselves and capture their personality in a flattering, intimate way. It’s often done to celebrate a milestone, as a personal keepsake, or as a unique gift for a loved one. The photos are usually taken in a cozy, private setting, creating a comfortable and relaxed atmosphere.
How does a session typically go?
I like to bring my speaker and play upbeat and fun music to help clients relax and get into the groove of the session. You are in complete control of the whole session, I will offer up a ton of posing/ styling suggestions and if you don’t feel confident in the pose or it isn’t your style, we will switch it up! I love inspo and suggestions being brought to sessions Ito enhance the creativity, bring it on!

Do I need to bring anything?
I recommend bringing at least 2 outfits that you'd like to wear during the session! Any jewelry, hair accessories, and anything else is up to you.
For bridal boudoir, bring your veil, heels, ring, white lingerie, etc. to add to an awesome session!

Where will my session be?
I have done sessions in both Greensboro and Charlotte and have studios that I favor in both areas. The client is in charge of paying my hourly fee and the cost of the studio, which is usually between $70-100 an hour depending on what day & time of day we want to book. Once the studio fee is paid, I will book the studio and soon after we will have the start of an amazing session!
